The Ferro CB was created for golfers who want a clean, player-focused shape with more stability and forgiveness than a traditional muscle-cavity iron. At our Honolulu facility, a leading Hawaii amateur and member of the University of Hawaii women’s golf team put a newly built CB into play on TrackMan.
From the build bench to a player’s hands
Before this session, the club was assembled and checked by our club-building team. Player testing is the next step: seeing how the finished build responds to a skilled, repeatable delivery and comparing the measured shot to the golfer’s feedback.
The video captures one swing from that process. It is a real testing moment—not a scripted claim that one shot proves the performance of an entire model.
What we evaluate on TrackMan
TrackMan helps us move beyond appearance and first impressions. We review launch, spin, carry, peak height, descent angle and dispersion across repeated shots—not only the longest or best-looking result.
Those measurements are considered alongside strike location and the player’s comments on feel, control and confidence. The numbers and the golfer’s experience should support each other.

Why test the CB with accomplished players?
An accomplished player can deliver the club consistently enough to expose small differences in flight, strike response and build feel. That makes the session useful for evaluating whether the CB delivers the stability we intended without losing the compact look and feedback serious golfers expect.
This is one stage in an ongoing process. Additional golfers, specifications and shaft combinations will be tested as we continue refining how each Ferro set is fitted and built.
